Annotation	This study is based on the survey „Housing of young generation 2003“, focused on family behavior and housing of young people (to 35 years). Its aim was to recover the situation of young married or live-in partners at the opening phase of their family lives. The main focus was on basic characteristics of young people′s cohabitation, conditions that lead to marriage or cohabitation, parental plans, housing and the question of separate living influence on partner, resp. parental behavior. The study is divided into three parts. The first is focused on partner and parental behavior and ways of ensuring preschool children′s education and care, both from the perspective of children home care and from the perspective of preschool institutions′ attendance and quality (day care centers and kindergartens). The second part focuses on housing of young couples, particularly on the connections between beginning of living together (marriage) and housing, ways of getting a flat, options of housing funding or household economical situation. Next part at first describes respondents′ opinions on participation of family and state on getting flats for young families, subsequently it represents an overview on ways of housing funding with a help of building and loan associations and mortgage credits and on the role of state in the field of housing support.
