Annotation	The research "School and health for 21st century" is a multidisciplinary project carried out by divers specialists of social and natural sciences. The objectif of the research is to apply a paradigm of modern world health politics and philosophy to the life of current school. The main aim of the project is to provide a complex view on problems of health (psychical, physical and social) and its implementation within the basic school education as well as creation of methodological and methodical conception of health education, health support and verification of evaluative tools serving to ascertain health consciousness efficiency. Within this framework, the key themes focused on problems of healthy life style and health behavior in schools are developped. The aims and tasks of the project are based on WHO documents, in particular on the "HEALTH 21" resulting in goverment resolution on "Long-term program of health" aimed at improving health of population in the Czech Republic (from the day 30.10.2002). The elaboration of the outputs usefull for divers schools documents is inspired by ideas of General education program for basic education (chap.6.8. Man and health).
