Annotation This Master thesis analyses the „Rovers and Rangers“, scouts at the age of 18-26. The work attempts to describe and analyze an organisational structure of the Rovers and Rangers at the basis of a statistical analyses of representative data and to present the research results as an advice for future decisions about Rovers. Junák is an educational organization aimed at children and youth. Its value orientation is embedded in the “basic principles” such as the Scout law and the Scout promise. The second part of the work focuses on the scout value system and attempts to answer a question whether the Rovers and Rangers differ from other youth in their value preferences. For a comparision of the data, a representative sample of Czech population at the same age of 18 – 26 is used.
