Annotation	The research follows up the national research „ Participation of the youth and society“ carried out by National Institute of Youth and Children in 1998. The research pursues an interest of young generation about social and political process, membership in political parties, participation in elections, motivations of young people to take part in political and social process at local and regional level, awareness and knowledge of their rights and duties, opionions and attitudes towards actual social topics such as rasism, xenophobia, gender equality etc. The research was carried out from May 2006 to July 2006 at the basis of questionnaires. There were 5.698 respondends participated in the research.
