The role of open club in institutional system concerned with the leisure time activities of youth and children

Annotation	The M.A. thesis is aimed to the open clubs which alternativly complete the current offer of institutions involved in the spare time of children and youth. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the important themes and relationships concernig the issue of spare time are explained. Furthmore there is presentation of institutions taking care of the spare time of children and youth, and an introduction to new types of facilities – Low threshold arrangement for children and youth and open clubs. In the empirical part, qualitative research carried out with workers and volunteers at the open clubs, whose purpose was to reveal, how the respondents see the importance and the role of the open clubs, is explained.
