Annotation | This bachelor´s thesis focuses on a problem of multicultural education at kindergartens in Cheb. Due to its location on the main transport line at the Czech-German border and due to the suitable entrepreneurial environment, there is a huge concentration of the Vietnamese minority in the city. The Vietnamese children often attend the Czech kindergartens. The theoretical part of the bachelor´s thesis deals with intercultural differencies in families of foreigners.The work adverts to the importace and specificity of the period in children´s life in collectivity in kindergartens. The thesis also emphasis the interconnection between multicultural education and the Pre-school Frame Education Programme and stresses the importance of teacher´s awareness and competences to apply the principles of the multicultural education. Empirical part of the thesis brings out particuliar results of a pedagogical research concerning teacher´s attitudes and possible obstacles linked to the application of the multiculutural education and integration of immigrant´s children in kindergartens. |
