Annotation	The main research aim of the longitudal project is to describe and explain the influence of traumatic stress situation experienced in childhood on the personality development in adolescence, in particular at the age of 15 to 18. Attention is drawn to children´s ways of coping but to elaboratation and verification of a model that would describe and explain causal, mediating and moderating function of personal, social and enviromental factors for posttraumatic development of an adolescent. In particular the formation of his plans, expectation and activities in performance and relational sphere. The presence and character of the traumatic situation as well as personal and relational characteristics are also investigated on the sample of children at the age of 8-11. The development of the characteristics will be persued also on the same sample of the children at the age of 13, 15 and 17. The proposed models will help to describe and explain an influence of trauma on the development of value system in adolescence, in particular of self esteem, awareness of self efficacy and other factors influencing behaviour and the life career of an individual.
