Annotation Diagnostics and measuring of identity in the process of its formation is mostly based on self reports of adolescents. The research is based on the Groningen Identity Development Scale combining the semi-strucured interview with quantitative scales evaluating the formal aspects of identity. Diagnostic value of self report is problematic as the identity is formated at the same time as capability of reflexion of identity relevant experience, from the point of view of subject´s retrospective evocation. The main aim of this project is to analyse obligations formulated by adolescents in GIDS and confront the characteristics of these obligations with another variables, for example capability to evoke retrospectively relevant memory contents, different styles of identity formation presented in contemporary literature etc. from the point of view of form and content
