The research carried out among primary school students aimed at an analysis of relations among self-appraisal, attributive characteristics and strategies of coping with difficulties. Although self-appraisal and strategies of coping are closely linked together, its relations to atributive characteristics correlate only partially. The sample of respondents was composed of 206 students of a primary school (103 boys and 103 girls) at the age of 13-15. The research analysing data by disposion model of coping focused primarily at atribution, two dimensions of self-appraisal: self-aceptation and competence, as well as the coping with stress. By means of correlation analysis, the research dislosed a significant positive correlation between self acceptation and internalisation of success and between self-refusal, feeling of non competence and internalisation of bad success. From the point of view of atribution we found out that the most important situation evaluated by the students was „non-acceptance at school“, on the other hand „ to get drunk at school party“ was evaluated as the least significant situation |
