Annotation	The paper focuses on the problems of preconditions of life satisfaction among adolescents today, on their personality, values and social perspectives. The main aim of the paper is to map adolescent´s value orientation and to biefly outline the relation of selected personality variables to value preferences. The verification of the closeness of relation between a type of given value orientation and measure of life satisfaction is an important part of the research project.A target group of respondents is composed of 841 pupils of the second and the third grade of all types of the secondary school in the southern Moravia.
