The research focuses on the interconnection between reasoning, solving moral dilemma and the perception of responsability. A group of informants consisted of 213 adolescents (108 girls and 105 boys, 92% at the age of 15-17). The respondents were asked to mention three different situations in which they or someone else did something wrong or good. Only those answers that concerned their own actions were taken into account. The respondents were then asked to judge eight different reasonings of moral dilemma concerning induced abortion. One half of the respondents were agree, another half of them were against it. In the most of the cases, the adolescents judged their good or bad action in connection to a particular person (such as parents, friends) which means that they tend to relate their actions to an object of responsability. In other cases they emphasized an „inner rule“ according to which they evaluate their behavior as bad or good. |
