Annotation The research attempts to define which factors for recognition of the good and the bad influence a causal attribution of sucesfull and unsucesfull life situations . The research applies the method of forward stepwise regression and focuses on the group of students of secondary school. We compared categories of different causes – those linked to a subject (internal causes), those linked to a partner interaction and external causes. The most significant predictor is a factor we call a social sucessfulness. We found out that internal and controlable attributions increase in a sucesfull situation together with trust in qualities and social sucessfulness of other people (good and bad). A transfer of responsability to one´s partner without the possibility to influence a situation increase in dependence on increase of conviction about social sucessfulness of a bad person.
