A conception of power in pupil´s narratives

Annotation The paper focuses on a problem of power distribution hidden in pupil´s narratives in the context of school. The concept of power is related to particular subjects who enter sphere of power relations - a social power of school as an institution, a social and individual power of a teacher and a pupil. An empirical part of the research which is based on the analysis of communication genres within pupil´s narratives shows how particular narratives enable pupils to distinguish and describe different conceptions of power relations in the school settings.
