Annotation |
The research report is a psycho-social commentary on issue of criminal behavior – commercial sexual abuse of children – and a personality of offender. The phenomenon is analyzed from the point of view of criminal law and politics, including a survey of all declarations, mandatory statutes, option protocols etc. The report is designed for specialists involved in the criminal law as well as for specialists focused on providing help to victims of the criminal act.
The first part of the report represents an introduction to the issue of commercial sexual abuse of children (CSAC) complemented with data about criminal acts and number of offenders in the Czech republic. Another chapters treat of different forms of CSAC such as child prostitution, pornography, trafficking of children etc. complemented with examples of judgment and court rilungs of particular cases. In the last, empirical part of the report, results from fieldwork inquiry aimed at an outline of personal characteristics of CSAC offenders are presented. Facts of the cases of criminal acts within CSAC and a survey of criminal acts as amended by new Act of criminal code from January 2010 are presented in suplements.
