Annotation	The research focuses on interest of young people in social and political issues and evaluation of the interest of state bodies in main problems of young people’s life. Attention is paid on questions concerning a preparation for future occupation, their current housing situation and future expectations, opinions on starting the family and a situation of children and young people in Czech Republic. One part also deals with Czech Republic’s membership in European structures. Selected results will be used for elaboration of a final report on young people’s situation for the European Council. In standardized interviews, 440 young people at the age of 15-26 years were inquired.
