Annotation The main aim of this research is to verify if it is possible to identify an association between a frame of mind of adolescents and their involvement in some specific kind of a risk behavior by the nonclinical group. The study sample is formed by the participants of ELSPAC (European Longitudinal Study of Parenthood and Childhood) and include 1.531 adolescents. The data used are from the fifteen-year-old age period. Respondents were divided into five groups by the risk behavior (an addictive b., an anti-social b., a risk sexual b., a syndrome group, a control non-risk group). The data were analyzed in the SPSS programme by standard statistical methods, using these methods the differences between groups in sub scales of SDQ questionnaire and in selected psychic difficulties were determined. The research showed that psychic difficulties are related to risk behavior. Involvement in risk behavior does not mean that these individuals are not capable of pro social behavior.
