Annotation |
The theoretical outcomes of research study came from social constructivist approach. The purpose of this chapter was to describe, explain and discover the language construction of social reality explanation in coexistence of Roma and majority society from the point of view of pupils at two secondary schools. The two main topics in the discussion among the pupils were focused on nationalism, racism, criminality, leadership and intolerance. The pupils in the research were both Roma and from majority society. The used methodology was discursive analysis and the data were collected from focus groups discussions. The source for discussion was taken from basic schools history textbooks and the reflections which followed were based on the real life experience of the pupils. |
