Annotation	The publication summarizes the most important aspects of career decision making of teenagers by means of the questionnaire effected in spring 2011 among 1655 pupils of primary school and 935 pupils of secondary school, in Prague, Pilsner region, Usti region and Moravian-Silesian region. The book provides an outline of information, what is the role of parents, large family, friends, teachers, career counsellor, information from school and other sources (TV, internet, Facebook) in decision making of girls and boys about their future educational specialisation. The inquiry focused also on pupils´ awareness about information sources aimed at career decision making and measure of its use. The research has showed, how pupils approach the decision making, if responsibly or not, with regards to expected chances to manage the studies, or to future assertion at labour market, at to which extend is important for them to perform labour that meet their needs.
