Annotation	The publication focuses on basic explanation of the concepts of sexual life. Individual chapters focus on specific issues such as reproduction and related sexuality, family planning, sexually transmitted diseases, variability in sexual behavior, sexual crime and access to sex education as such. Provides a comparison of the different approaches and development in this area from past to present, both abroad and in the Czech Republic. It is pointed out here that sex education has a beneficial effect on reducing the incidence of sexually transmitted diseases and unwanted pregnancies. However, it is necessary that this education in itself contained not only information, but also to prove the youth build purposeful attitude and effective skills. This, however, is the need for cooperation and trained teaching staff, along with parents.
