Impact of attended track on civic attitudes of secondary school students in the Czech Republic

Annotation This report seeks to answer the question, what are the attitudes of Czech students in different types of secondary schools to participate in elections, to school and civic engagement, and the rights of minorities, but also on how the differences in attitudes of students of schools and different types of schools have changed the past decade. The analyzes use data from CIVED 1999 research and civic attitudes of the youth of 2010 turned out that between 1998 and 2010 remained monitored civic attitudes of young voters essentially unchanged. Improved their attitude to school and civic engagement, small deterioration has been shown in relation to minorities. For shaping civic attitudes is crucial composition students of the schools, but the educational practices of the school.
