Annotation	This thesis deals with the relationships between adolescents and grandparents. Specifically, determine the degree of emotional closeness between the two generations, from the perspective of adolescents. The theoretical part is related to the issue of intergenerational relationships and family life forms. It also deals with adolescence as a specific life period, the issue of grandparenthood and specific relationship between adolescents and their grandparents. The research section aims to determine the degree of emotional closeness between adolescents and their grandparents by questionnaire. It has been shown that adolescents evaluate their relationship with their grandparents rather more positively. It seems that for adolescents, the source of grandparent care, comfort more than a source of of advice and support.
