| Annotation | Paper presents the results of the project, which was tasked to find out information about the functioning of the current practice facility for children requiring immediate help. The basic aim of the project was to obtain data that will be the basis for legislative changes regarding the conditions and requirements for the establishment and operation of facilities for children requiring immediate assistance and ways of financial support from the state. Research was attended by a total of 49 facilities for children requiring immediate assistance. Based on the results of the research can generally say that the individual devices vary greatly. Have been reported large differences in the functioning of the devices. It is probably owing to the vague regulation of these devices. Furthermore, it appears that the funds spent by the state for the stay of children in institutions for children requiring immediate help and institutional facilities considerable. The question remains whether, in the event that such an extent been supported by the family itself, not to reduce the number of children that need to be placed outside their families as a result of failure of its basic functions. |
