Annotation This work seeks to determine whether the problem, which is so loud talking, actually exists. The problem here is meant the influence of computer games on the psyche of children and adolescents. The first chapter deals with the selection and analysis of selected scientific papers on the effect of computer games on the psyche of children and adolescents. Other chapters deal successively link between computer games and issues and the dangers of video games, specifically the origin, history and historical context of this issue. Much of the work is devoted to rating systems, their origin, the most widely used systems and their use in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, the work deals with the comparison of censorship games with high ratings and provides an indication of the actual level of the hazard. The secondary objective is to focus on the media image of video games in today and its relation withthe results of studies and the efficiency of established rating systems.
