Annotation	The aim is to summarize what aspects of divorce have the greatest impact on the psyche of the child, to delve deeper into the issue of the timing of the impact of parental divorce on children. The theoretical part contains chapters dealing with marriage, family and divorce itself. In particular, it focuses on the psychological aspects of children when parents divorce. The practical part deals with specific families who have gone through divorce. The aim of the research was to determine the respondents from divorced families at secondary school, what they think about the situation after his parents divorced. The work shows that it is important for a child in regular contact with the other parent.
