Annotation	This work aims to map the situation in which the formation of the injuries to children in younger and older school age. Another objective was to determine whether these children adhere preventive measures for high-risk activities. The theoretical part includes basic information on accidents and their causes, consequences and prevention. The practical part contains the research, which was carried out on a particular elementary school through a questionnaire survey among students. It turned out that most children suffer injury during sports and specifically football. The most common type of injury has been reported in younger school age laceration / gash and higher school age dislocation / fracture. Of the total number of respondents, the accident occurred more frequently in children at school age. More serious injuries required hospitalization suffering children in school age.
