Annotation Bachelor thesis deals with symptomatic speech disorders to a child and tries to focus on the consequences of impaired communication ability of adaptation in preschool children. Target groups were two - children with symptomatic speech disorders and children with speech disorders non-symptomatic . Individual chapters are devoted to the theoretical part of the knowledge acquired on the basis of the relevant literature - the speech development of a child from birth to school age, are discussed further 4 linguistic levels, which interact with each other and together form a communication unit, we describe various disorders of speech and definition of the term symptomatic speech, their causes and follows the development of speech in children with special needs. The empirical part is based primarily on their own investigation and interpretation of results. To determine the level of communication abilities of the child, the author chose to use the test questions and tasks. It was outsourced to the selected children with specific speech impediment. It turned out that in all cases of children with symptomatic speech disorders speech is sufficient for normal use in communication. Obstacle in their adaptation is likely to be insufficient dominance and assertiveness of these children. Research pointed to the different properties and characteristics of children with symptomatic speech disorders and children with speech disorders non-symptomatic. Children with speech disorders non-symptomatic usually have healthy self-esteem, they are open, without shame. In contrast, children with symptomatic speech-breaking isolation, pessimism, sense of shame and anguish. In conclusion, therefore, I can say that the psychological aspect of a child is the main factor that deteriorates the adaptation of children with symptomatic speech disorders.
