Annotation This thesis deals with the attitudes of children and youth to national minorities living in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part contains basic information regarding the aforementioned issues, deals with the characteristics of developmental change in adolescence, multiculturalism, multicultural society and multicultural education, stereotypes and prejudices, ethnic conflicts and ethnic minorities living in the Czech Republic. The practical part is focused on research into the attitudes of children and youth to national minorities, which was conducted using the method of the survey. Specifically answer the question: What are the attitudes of pupils eighth and ninth grade students and graduation classes to ethnic minorities? Research has also shown that young people today assume a negative attitude towards Roma, Vietnamese and Ukrainian national minority, which belongs to the Czech Republic certainly among the largest and most famous.
