Annotation	This thesis solves the current problems of eating disorders. The theoretical part deals with the importance of nutrition for children and adolescents, relationship to food and its development. Describes eating disorders, informing them of their causes, health complications and treatment options for the disease. The first chapter is devoted to the importance of nutrition for children and adolescents, relationship to food and its development. Summarizes the basic information about the relationship to food and describes the factors that affect it. The second chapter deals with eating disorders in terms of history, characteristics, diagnosis and prevention. The third chapter introduces the possible treatments. The research part determines the level of awareness of high school students in Tabor about eating disorders, comparing differences between the answers of boys and girls.
