Pupils laugh at teachers: the forms and functions of teacher-focused school humour

Annotation The aim of this article is to examine the forms and functions of humor in the school environment. It is concretely a situation that takes place in the interaction between teacher and pupils and which is a source of humor or comedy teacher, either voluntarily or involuntarily. The first part describes the basic concepts such as humor or function of humor. Furthermore, it is dedicated to empirical investigation. The empirical investigation is based on an analysis of students texts describing a humorous experience at school. From the samples taken for the purposes of this article, only those selected texts, which is the object of humor teacher. Here was created division of humorous situations which are the subject teachers in three modes (comic teacher, duped teacher, funny teacher). Thea article contains actual examples of individual pupils' texts.
