Annotation |
The thesis is focused on finding information for students 7th and 9th grades of elementary schools on the issue of awareness on sexual education and its importance, revealing potential weaknesses and risks related to its marginalization. The aim was to summarize theoretical knowledge about sex education, basic definitions of sexual education, sexuality, reproductive health. The theoretical part contains four chapters. The first chapter deals with explaining the concepts of sex education, sexuality, reproductive and sexual health. The second chapter looks at sex education from different perspectives, such as sex education from an ethical perspective, the media, families and schools and within the educational program for elementary schools. The third chapter describes the negative aspects of sexual life as the possible consequences of a lack of information, as this issue related to unprotected sex, sexual offenses and risky adolescent behavior. The fourth chapter explores the sexual education and related legislation. In the practical part was conducted through questionnaires research on awareness of children and young people and knowledge in the field of sex education, who mostly affects attitudes and thinking of adolescents. The resulting investigation the author concludes that the level of awareness amongst pupils 7th and 9th grades of elementary schools in the area of sex education is secondary to the lower level. |
