Emotional intelligence of children, its significance and development of preschool children

Annotation The aim of this work is to show that emotional intelligence of preschool children can develop and that it is possible to teach children through creative emotional education to manage and control their emotions within their capabilities. The theoretical part contains the definition of emotional intelligence of children and their emotional competencies of preschool age. An important point of work is to outline ways, strategies and methods which can be emotional intelligence in children develop. The main objective of the research in the practical part is to stimulate and develop emotional intelligence of preschool children. To achieve this goal, the author compiled a program for the development of emotional intelligence, which is designed to intentionally stimulate and develop in children the area of self-awareness, self-control, empathy, motivation and social skills.
