Annotation This work is aimed to capture a moment in time, when school trip become part of learning process and chart the their further development and changes over time until modern times. The first chapter discusses the origins of school trips, which date back to the 17th century. The second chapter entitled Analysis of school trips based on study of school chronicles draws on the knowledge of school trips and other chronicles of other records. The third chapter is devoted to the questionnaire survey, through which the author examined the opinions of current teachers and pupils on school trips. Its good that both groups find school trips usefull and interesting. From teachers point of view I have found that this activity is hard to organise and is dangerous because of health of pupils. On the other hand its chance for both sides to recognise themselves better and try to make more positive enviroment.
