| Annotation | The thesis is focused on the concept, nature and importance of child's right to play and leisure activities in the context of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and its implementation in the Czech Republic. The aim of this study was to determine the child's interest in the matter participating in games and leisure activities, ie. define the relevant law and the importance of these activities - especially games - for child development and describe the content and form of spending free time for children, find out what attitude to the issue occupy the bodies of the current policy of free time for children and especially the way in this area involved Czech schools , specifically in the city of Brno. The first chapter describes the nature of the child's right to play and leisure (extracurricular) activities in the context of Article 31 of the Convention. The second chapter defines the meaning of the gaming process for the overall development of the child, whether healthy or sick, or handicapped in some way. The third chapter is devoted to the definition of the term "leisure child", describes how it is used by children today, as in the pursuit of a meaningful spending involved primary schools and other entities politics children's leisure time. The fourth chapter specifically evaluate the organization of extracurricular activities at primary schools in Brno. |
