Possibility of catering for pupils in primary schools

Annotation The main objective of this thesis is to determine the eating habits of pupils of 2nd grade of primary schools and the popularity of vending machines and buffets. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter focuses on the history of school meals in school canteens, vending machines and school buffets. The second chapter discusses the current school meals - school canteens, vending machines and buffets. It is mentioned healthy operation in school canteens, the issue of the consumer basket and legislative page. Furthermore, acquaints us with the School Fruit and School Milk. The third chapter is focused on school meals in selected countries, namely France, Great Britain, USA and Germany. The main aim of the practical part is to find out whether students to choose food from the canteen, or prefer to buy in buffets and vending machines. Pupils in most cases regularly go to school canteens and offered two meals of their choice.
