Annotation	The thesis of this dissertation is the assessment of the ecological programme for pre-school children. The aim of this work is to develop, implement and evaluate the program for environmental education in kindergarten based on the defined theoretical foundations of environmental education.. In the theoretical section, the authors tries to expound the ecological education and the terms associated with it. In the subsequent section, she addresses the ecological education in preschool education. In the practical part, the programme for the ecological education called "The World Around Us“ for children in pre-school age is developed, and is then implemented in a kindergarten. The programis an educational offering and includes suggestions on the topic and questions, games, experiments, poems, songs, art work and ideas.
