The impact of social networks and modern technology for the social development of children

Annotation	Bachelor thesis deals with the influence of social networks and modern technology for the social development of children. The aim of this work is to determine whether excessive staying with children on social networks affects their communication and social integration into society. The work is divided into theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes psychological development of children, their socialization and possible causes of failures of socialization, briefly describes the Internet, social networks and related addictive behavior, online risks and safe behavior on the Internet. The data are interpreted in practical part of the thesis. The data collection has been performed via survey, which has been conducted at 8. and 9. classes of four elementary school in Ústecký and Středočeský county. The data analysis in Ústecký county proved, prevalence of survey respondents particularly to mild addiction and in Středočeský county, the data proved prevalence particularly to moderate addiction on internet. Severe addiction occurred sporadically. The data has been as well used for assessment of the internet and social media influence on child development and was found that the internet and social networks almost equally interfere into all parts in children life.
