Annotation The Bachelor thesis deals with financial products of the daily needs of the citizens of the Czech Republic from the banking sector and the possibilities of integrating the teaching of this issue, including possible methodologies into the curriculum of secondary schools. The objectives of this thesis are in principle two. To introduce and describe the concept of financial literacy and its merits in the present and to become familiar with the basic concepts in this area. To propose a basic schemes for the inclusion of this issue in the secondary curriculum, including the specific methods of teaching. For students it is necessary to transfer their knowledge about making money, cash spending, savings and investment into practice. It is important to make the students at the latest within the secondary education learn to understand basic financial terms, understand the money that they could build and maintain a household budget, etc..
