Annotation	This thesis is devoted to the most commonly used means of education, rewards and punishments. On the theme the author peered from the perspective of parents. She was interested in their opinions and attitudes to these issues, which are extensively discussed today. The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical and the practical. The first part of the thesis informs about rewards and punishments in general. There are explained main terms regarding this topic. The thesis includes information about basic characteristic of rewards and punishments, their types and dangerous associated with them. The second part of the thesis presents and evaluates results of the research. There are analyzed opinions and postures of parents on rewards and punishments in the education of a child. The thesis is especially intended for parents, teachers and educators.
