Annotation	This research evaluates complex of problems concerning the aspiration of young people to continue in their studies after primary and secondary school. Objective conditions which somehow determine the chance to study (family situation, offer of study opportunities), performance characteristics of young people (school results, out-of-school activities etc) and the sphere of values and life aspirations were investigated.
