Annotation	The goal of the submitted thesis is the evaluation of economic aspects and impacts of the studies of foreign students at the Czech public universities and the formulation of predictions of the future development. The theoretical part describes the system of Czech higher education and the position of foreign students. Subsequently, the system of financing universities and economic aspects of higher education are presented. The second part is composed of the case study of the Masaryk University, which also includes a presentation of the results of a questionnaire survey carried out among the Slovak graduates, and of the evaluation of economic aspects and impacts of the foreign students’ studies. For this purpose, the cost benefit analysis was executed. In conclusion, the prognosis of the future development in the national and European context is presented.
