Impacts of religious sects on children and young people

Annotation The research investigated an impacts of religious sects on pupils of elementary school and secondary schools. It focuses on extent of their knowledge of dangers and mesasure of sympathy with religious sects as well as on possible source of this phenomena. This investigation focused on the most endangered age group of children (14-16 years). At this age opinions, attitudes and values of youth are formed. A hypothesis that children at this age are the most often accosted by the sects was affirmed. A necessity to educate pupils, in particular to cultivate their ability to distinguish different religious phenomena and to evaluate the sects criticaly was recomended. The research report also includes sociotechnical recommendations how to manage negative impacts of the sects among children and youth.
