Annotation This thesis focuses on the following issues of the regulation of the advertising at children and those in which children perform. The thesis determines who can be considered a child and also defines the legal adjustment advertising focused on children. Besides the legal adjustment the thesis also analyses specific cases of faulty advertisements regarding children, describes the self-regulatory mechanisms in this area and deals with the psychological aspects which are very closely related to the problem. The thesis further compares the regulation of advertising involving children in selected European countries. The thesis attachments include visual material of illegal, unethical and questionable advertising aimed at children.
