| Annotation | This research focuses on the issue of drug taking and drug addiction among the Czech youth. It linked up to a previous research carried out in 1995. The sample consisted of secondary school students (1691 in 1998, 1502 in 1995). This research report presents comparison of these two researches. This research focused on experience of the Czech young people with light drugs (alcohol, cigaretes and marihuana) and hard drugs (heroin, cocaine, LSD, ecstasy, pervitin, magic mashrooms, toluene). Gambling among the youth was also taken into consideration. Questions also concerned young people´s awareness of health risks connected to drug taking and of divers organisations working with drugs addicts. |
