Annotation | This publication summarises results of the project aimed at monitoring of an implementation and fulfillment of the Convention on the Rights of the Child in the Czech republic. A realisation of this project is another step to the fulfillment of the Conception of state policy for youth and children (until to 2007) in the field of the children rights. This research attempted to complete findings of partial research projects carried out in the past (concerning children harassment, sexual abuse, children vexation etc.). The research based on the questionnaire inquiry covered 3780 respondents. Students of elementary and secondary schools covered altogether 19 articles of the Convention concerning themes such as non-discrimination, opinion of the child, freedom of speech, freedom of gathering, leisure time etc. A partial research called „ An opinion of Adults of the Implementation of Children Rights“ was aimed at the article No 42 and examined mainly adults. An implementation of the article No 4 concerning a coordination of state policy, the national operational plan and a distribution of resources was covered by a small expert inquiry. |
