Family economic options for studies of children

Annotation The survey from 1993 attempted to find out how are young people satisfied with a development in their society in different fields (constitutional organization, political development, economy, standart of living, social field, culture, safety of people, education, health service, international politics, moral and spiritual values). The survey focused on public opinions on current family economical limits for studies of their children, importance of education in young people′s lives and their motivation to study. Linguistic competences of the youth and their motivations to study abroad were also observed. Data were gathered with a help of standardized interview with young people at the age of 15-30. The sample of respondents was random and gathered in the whole area of the Czech Republic. There were 834 young people in the final set of respondents.
