Annotation	The paper based on analysis of several research reports attempts to outline current knowledge about leisure time activities, transformation of structure of leisure time activities and to look into non well expolored fields such as the relations of leisure time of youth and state and its institutions, municipality, NGOs, school, family. Elaboration of these themes should lead on one hand to the definition of current situation, possibilities and realization of leisure time activitities in the Czech republic and on the other hand to the definition of roles of state and state administration and other social subjects involved in leisure time.
