Annotation	This survey focused on parents′ knowledge of drug problems and drug addictions is linked to another survey carried out by the IDM MŠMT from 1993. The aim of this survey is to find out a level of parent´s knowledge about drugs problems, sources of information about drugs, recognition of drugs and its effects on health, forms of help to an intoxicated, knowledge of medical institutions, parents′ opinions on the forms of prevention conducted by family, school and state. The survey focused also on relationships in family, time devoted to children, children awareness about drugs danger. Results of both surveys contribute to the monitoring of drug situation in the Czech Republic, and would help to the reinforcement of primary drug addiction prevention program.
