Annotation | The Children and Youth Institute MŠMT ČR carried out four researches concerning family, school, adolescence and civic consciousness in 1996. The research about family attempts to outline main problem areas that essentially shape young people in the process of social maturing. The research thus focused on family background, influence and role of respondents parents, school, friends and leisure time spending. The research also aimed at opinions on family in general and its importance, respondent´s value orientation and their interest in social processes. Two types of questionnaires for two groups of respondents were used in the survey: one for singles at the age of 15-19, another for married, alternatively divorced or widowed at the age of 20-24. The aim was to investigate these two groups of young people in different life periods and to draw a comparison between their attitudes and opinions in order to point out how family influences and changes their life. |
