Annotation	This article provide information about results of an inquiry carried out in the frame of research University plan called the Special needs of pupils in context of the Framework educational program. The research was carried out at three selected school in south Moravian region. An objective of the inquiry was to find out, which criteria teachers employ within a choice of gifted pupil and what methods they use. Then, the research focused on way of working with gifted pupils in subjects such as natural science and geography.
