Annotation |
The main goal of this thesis is substantiation and description of spiritual dimension of a school culture. This dissertation is going to show that the spiritual dimension can be shown through the empirically based research. The author tries to answer the question about the way in which the spiritual dimension is perceived by the school participants. The base of the theoretical part is a concept of values, spiritual values and the spirituality. The author comes to the conclusion that the spiritual value can be objectives of education and educational programs. Spirituality is defined as an antropological constant, which is present also in the school culture. The creative part of the work consists in empirical research of the spiritual dimensions of the school culture by means of K. Wild´s evaluative questionarie which is aimed at comprehension of values and supplements as well as qualitative methods of research. The spiritual dimension of a school culture is investigated at six elementary schools. It is reflected by teachers from the perspective of reality and the perspective of the ideal situation.
